How Full Service Movers Make Your Move Easier

June 6th, 2017 5:03 pm by

Moving is a difficult, stressful and time consuming task. Shopping for a moving option is just one of the factors that adds to this. These days, there is everything from renting a U-Haul, renting store and move containers, hiring low end movers, or hiring full service movers. We at Highland are in the full service category. Here are some of the ways a full service mover can benefit you on moving day.

Your Home Is Protected from Damage

Worried about your walls, floors and banisters? All of our crews are equipped with enough floor runners to cover your home. We also have enough furniture pads to wrap any banisters that require protection.

Packing and Unpacking Service

Packing is a big process. You truly do not know how much stuff you have until you move. We offer full packing and unpacking services and carry a wide variety of packing materials for any and all of your belongings.

Crating Service

Worried about a high value item or extremely fragile item? We can crate it on site at origin and uncrate it at destination to ensure it transports safely.

Installation and Assembly are Included

A lot of moving companies require you to take apart furniture such as your beds, dining room table etc. At Highland our crews come equipped with tools to take apart all furniture that requires disassembly. We will also reassemble it at destination for you.

Appliances

Lots of movers will not move appliances. This is because a lot of them, like gas oven/stoves, need to be serviced by a licensed professional. We are partnered with these 3rd party professionals who can come in and service your appliances so that we can move them properly.

Storage

We offer a number of storage options for you including SIT (Storage In Transit) and LTS (Long Term Storage).

Support

You will have a dedicated Moving Consultant throughout your entire move to answer any questions and address any concerns you have.
