Whether its food, music or family entertainment – there is always something for everyone. The following is a list of a few summer festivals that are coming up within the next couple of months in both major cities of Alberta.
K-Days – One of Edmonton’s most popular festivals of the summer. The days are filled with fun fair-rides, explosive fireworks, rocking concerts and interesting exhibits.
Heritage Festival – Is a three-day showcase of Edmonton’s vibrant multicultural heritage. There will be approximately 60 pavilions representing over eighty-five cultures from around the globe. Attendees will be able to see cultural performances, sample culinary delicacies and shop for cultural artwork and crafts.
Cariwest Caribbean Arts Festival – The festival is a three day event filled with colorful costumes, a vibrant street parade and lots of Caribbean cuisine to the sounds of Caribbean music.
Kensington Sun & Salsa Festival – Taste test your way through various salsa recipes served up by teams of local Kensington businesses. All sampling proceeds go to a variety of local charities. There are also a few live entertainment stages throughout the streets that offer Latin flavor throughout the community.
July 25 – 28
